Job Description

This job is a Full Time Landscape Labourer working Monday-Friday and half day Saturdays. The Landscape Labourer will be working with a crew of other mason and professional landscapers designing high quality backyards within the GTA.

Hourly Rate: $21-25/hour

Location: Different locations around the GTA

Hours of Work: Monday-Friday and half day Saturdays

Responsibilities

• Works under Foreperson/Construction manager instructions;
• Organizes tools and materials to execute scope of work as per instruction and/or drawings;
• Notify Forepersons of material request where required;
• Follows all health and safety requirements. Will attend weekly tool box talks and sign minutes of meetings;
• Perform general labour where required on work locations including but not limited to digging, planting, carrying material, laying sod, brick, concrete work, clean up of site,
• Able to operate tools and machinery;

Requirements

• Experience working in masonry and ability to read detail drawings.
• Good knowledge of materials, products and services
• Ability to understand managers instruction, and work within budget and timeframes;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written to deal with clients, work with fellow employees and trades;
• Work may require local travel to current and potential clients where required; this requires the possession of a valid driver’s license;

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Landscape construction: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Drivers License (required)

Work Location: On the road
