The Manager Engine Maintenance will be responsible for ensuring that ACM's Engine Maintenance requirements are optimized and met for present and future needs, ensuring engine off-wing maintenance is within budget while keeping high standards of reliability and safety.
Key Functions & Accountabilities:
Manage and optimize the Engine budget (approximately $100M USD).
Lead and support Vendor Management Representatives and other team members.
Manage engine maintenance vendors to ensure optimal quality of services are rendered and in line with service agreements.
Provide business, financial and analytical leadership and support to all areas of business development including own team members.
Have accountability for and demonstrate actual performance against goals on a regular basis on behalf of the Corporation.
Set clear direction and achievable objectives in line with our business direction.
Stay current of industry best practices to drive changes or transition to new business strategies in order to minimize cost and improve efficiency of vendors.
Be able to create strong rapport with internal and external customers to create and deliver a quality product and services to meet and exceed expectations.
Qualifications
University degree in a relevant field.
10+ years of related Airline, MRO, manufacturing or equivalent experience.
In-depth knowledge with engine remanufacturing processes.
Hand-on experience with engines in a shop environment.
Strong focus on continuous improvement and achievement of objectives while maintaining a positive and productive working relationship within and outside the work group.
Ability to plan and manage time, money and other resources to achieve goals.
Superior planning and organization skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong sense of initiative and creativity.
Basic knowledge of most commonly used PC software.
Familiar with a variety of the industry's concepts, practices, and procedures
Leads and directs the work of others
Must be knowledgeable and have experience with planning and forecasting systems
Excellent analytical abilities
