With our head office and warehouse locations in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, we manufacture and sell aluminum trim systems for fiber cement and LAP siding, panel systems and aluminum composite materials (ACM), primarily in Canada and the United States.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Communications Advisor will support the marketing team through the development of content and communications that supports company growth and transformation of the customer experience. This individual continually builds on relationships with internal and external audiences in support of our vision to transform the building and construction industry using sustainable and infinitely recyclable building products. This role will compile, and leverage insights gathered from customer research activities to support and enhance customer-facing communications and materials.

The Marketing and Communication Advisor manages the organization’s social media channels as well as content, communications, and marketing materials to align with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

· Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to compose and edit high-quality marketing copy, content, communications and campaigns to maximize customer awareness and experience aligned with our vision, strategy, and core values.

· Establish and maintain an effective presence on the organization’s key social media sites; LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and others.

· Moderate and respond to Engage online community members with professionalism, creativity and ethical judgement to achieve the goal of inspiring connections to enhance relationships with key audiences.

· Assist in the development and execution of a sophisticated content marketing strategy to augment business performance and objectives.

· Refine, optimize and manage tactics to support the social media and content strategy through the use of analytics, competitive research, customer insight, benchmarking, messaging, and trends.

· Write, product and develop content and communications that educates, influences, and engages prospective customers and that can be reused and repurposed through a variety of channels.

· Assist with the development of marketing copy (commercial broadcast email, brochures, presentations, case studies, whitepapers, trade show materials, etc), photo shoots and video production, consistent with the organization’s brand, direction, and strategy.

· Capture and analyze the appropriate performance data, metrics, analytics, insights and conversion rates, to make evidence-based decisions and recommendations.

· Leverage keyword research work and SEO audits to enhance content in order to increase online positioning and visitation.

· Write, edit and publish content required to support corporate communications via press releases, blog, email, social media and website.

· Propose marketing and media optimization recommendations based on industry best practices to increase visibility of content.

Qualifications

· Business degree and/or equivalent experience and success in marketing and communications.

· Deep experience, knowledge and competency with social media networks and managing community engagement.

· Proficiency using Social Media networks, applications and tools is required.

· Strong work ethic and able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently.

· Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines rapidly.

· Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and possess a high level of focus, accuracy and attention to detail.

· Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and time management skills.

· Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Experience with WordPress and HubSpot is an asset.

· Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate to all levels of the company.
