About the Opportunity:

As the Marketing Manager, Events and Email you will play a key role in driving demand for Conexiom’s next phase of growth through in-person events and email marketing campaigns. Your mix of creativity, planning, and attention to detail shows the rest of the world why our customers love us! Reporting to the Director of Demand Generation, you will be an integration point between marketing, sales, and customer success.


Your strategic objectives will be focused on: executing demand generation strategies that efficiently deliver quality pipeline, building and fostering a prospect and growth email database, and leading and growing our in-person event strategy.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute event marketing plans and email marketing campaigns that align with the company's overall marketing strategy and goals.
  • Research and identify target audiences and create event concepts and themes that drive engagement and create pipelines within our target buyers.
  • Work across the marketing team to create promotional materials such as event websites, social media content, email invitation, and registration forms.
  • Manage event budgets and track expenses to ensure ROI and identify and manage event vendors, sponsors, and partners to ensure successful execution.
  • Create event schedules, timelines, and run-of-show documents to ensure that all aspects of the event are on track.
  • Measure the success of events by analyzing metrics such as attendance, engagement, and revenue generated.
  • Build and maintain a segmented email list that targets specific groups of customers and monitor email performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates to optimize future campaigns.
  • Write persuasive copy that motivates customers to take action, such as making a purchase or signing up for a newsletter.
  • Collaborate with other marketing team members, such as social media managers, to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.
  • Work alongside the sales team to influence growth opportunities within our installed base through upselling and cross-selling of additional use cases.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in event marketing, customer marketing, demand generation, sales, or a similar discipline, ideally in a B2B company.
  • 2-3 years of experience working with different vendors/contractors and managing budgets/expenses throughout the year
  • Results-oriented mindset with the ability to plan activities and initiatives based on marketing-defined objectives for in-person events and growth.
  • Data-driven - Ability to make thoughtful, actionable recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative information, and quickly build consensus with senior-level internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with A/B testing and optimization of email campaigns, including subject lines, sender names, send times, and call-to-actions.
  • Proficient with marketing automation tools – Pardot, HubSpot.
  • Proficient with CRM tools – Salesforce experience is preferred
  • Experience with project management tools such as Asana, ProductBoard, or Trello.
  • Communication - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to put a cohesive, marketing-quality PowerPoint presentation together, write compelling and engaging communications, and create unique brand experiences for customers.
  • Excels in the ability to quantify the impact, and revenue opportunities, and build business cases to justify ideas.
  • Entrepreneurial - The ability to move fast and create results in a high-growth, high-energy environment.
  • Bonus points for experience in the manufacturing or distribution vertical.
  • Bonus points for experience in the order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, or automation space.
