Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
• Weigh, wrap and affix price labels to products.
• Advise customers regarding the content and types of products available.
• Replenish supplies and rotate products in the display counter.
• Take and record temperature of food and food storage areas such as refrigerators and freezers.
• Replenishes stock on the floor displays.
• Retrieve wrapped packages of meat from receiving area
• Participate in physical inventory counts for product management
• Process customer meat orders
• Clean floors, counters, work tables, trays and equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Comply with store policies and procedures.
• Perform other tasks as required by management to meet business needs.

Requirements:

• Good communication skills and ability to read and write in English.
• Customer service oriented and able to make good decisions.
• Able to work under minimal supervision and have attention to detail.
• Able to work in fast-paced environment.
• Available to work flexible shifts including days, evenings and weekends. Earliest start time of 6am, latest end time of 8pm
• Able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
• Able to bend, squat and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift up to approximately 23kg/50lbs.
• Ability to work in a colder environment.
• Experience working in meat industry and/or a grocery store environment are considered assets.
