Happy at Home Support Services Inc. provides transportation services to medical appointments for clients of the Orillia and surrounding areas. We are currently seeking a mature, dependable Volunteer Medical Driver to join our team. This position is a part-time, casual position. Volunteer Medical Drivers are scheduled per client needs and compensated based on pre-determined rates.

REQUIREMENTS

• timely arrival at client private residence
• abide by Ontario's driving laws and demonstrate safe driving skills
• provide door-door assistance for clients with devices
• knowledge of Orillia, Barrie and surrounding areas
• comfortable highway driving and to the city of Toronto

QUALIFICATIONS

• own personal vehicle
• a drivers abstract without convictions*
• two (2) work related references
• cellular phone with unlimited data

• flexible availability Monday-Friday, including early mornings

*The successful candidate(s) will be required to provide the Drivers Abstract along with a Vulnerable Sector Check at time of hire.
