Product Care’s members are the manufacturers, distributors, and retailers of these products, who share our passion for recycling and the environment. Please visit www.productcare.orgto learn more about us and our recycling programs.

About The Position

At Product Care, the revenue to operate our many recycling programs comes from fees paid to Product Care by industry members (manufacturers, distributors and retailers), based on the member’s self-reporting of the quantity of program products supplied in each of the Product Care programs.

The Member Compliance Auditor play a key role to ensure members are compliant with Product Care’s reporting and fee payment requirements for each program. Product Care’s member auditors also act as ambassadors, educating members on the reporting process and strengthening their relationship with Product Care. The audit is a multi-stage process including an analysis of reporting history, reviewing requested backup documentation covering a sample period, followed by a site visit, and then completing the analysis and preparing a report.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct member audits consistent with Product Care’s audit methodology.
  • Assist with the development of the annual member audit plan for Product Care and for the independent recycling programs managed by Product Care.
  • Prepare a well-organized compliance report for each member audit, supported by working papers including gap analysis where there are inadequate controls or deficiencies.
  • Efficiently organize travel and site visits.
  • Help members improve reporting procedures and accuracy.
