Occupational Therapist (OT) WSIB specialty
Kitchener Waterloo Area
Full Time, Mon-Fri 8-hour days
Salary: $45.00 per hour
Our client works in partnership with the community to help patients transition back to their place of work. The caseload will primarily be WSIB work.
Responsibilities
- Assess client needs, plan programs, treatment intervention and evaluation in the occupational performance areas of self care, productivity and leisure including cognition and community living skills.
- Participate in program planning and development in professional initiatives supporting quality management and research.
- Treatment planning for WSIB referrals, auto insurance and ad hoc employer requests.
- Demonstrate understanding of, compliance with, and commitment to, patient safety responsibilities and corresponding plans, policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients.
Are you qualified?
- Baccalaureate or Masters Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
- Member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).
- A minimum of 2 years experience to do WSIB work in the community.
