Position Summary:
We are looking for an Office Stock Clerk based at our Montreal, QC location.
This role will be responsible for the overall management of site services pertaining to, cleaning, coffee stock management and office supplies stock management. The Office Stock Clerk will be involved in special project such as office celebrations, the Nestle boutique, etc.
A day in the life of a
Office Stock Clerk:
As Office Stock Clerk, you will be responsible for day to day operations - coordinating and maintaining the Barrie TA inventory and deployment activities, ongoing support to customers, field service, internal operations and Sales/Marketing as required.
You will:
Logistics and Inventory Management:
- Maintain interactions with logistics daily
- Regularly feedback to the Office team Leader concerning the stock situation
- Maintain a stock control system that provides accurate and up-to-date information concerning current stock orders
- Receive and check goods received, following policies and procedures.
- Backroom storage / off site storage is well maintained; areas are identifiable, and stock is well kept within safety and operation
- Manage a team of 2 cleaning specialists
- Ensure that all mandatory trainings are completed on time and updated yearly for the stock team
- Accountable for the monthly inventory
Organize and assist in the smooth running of the office operations:
- Kitchen/coffee corners/niches/reception: put dirty dishes in the dishwashers as you go, start all the dishwashers as needed during the day and empty them clean microwaves throughout the day empty the coffee capsules from the machines and clean them keep counters clean throughout the day make sure to keep sugar, milk, napkin and coffee available at all times,
- Meeting room / academy collect glasses, cups and decanters in the meeting rooms and in the academy at the end of the meetings clean and disinfect tables
- End of the day make sure every day all dishwashers are on microwaves are clean all the coffee machines are emptied spare parts are washed bathrooms are clean wash the tables in the white rooms in the conference rooms and the management offices.
What will make you successful?
As the successful candidate, you will need to have strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work independently.
You will also require:
- 3 - 5 years of experience in an administrative/assistant role
- Customer focus and courtesy, ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Attention to detail and very good organization skills
- Good teamwork and collaboration skills
- Discretion and preserve confidentiality
