Work location: CRF AgriTech LP’s plant, 263 Edwards St, St Thomas, Ontario.

Schedule: Day shift (Must be flexible to work on Saturday, occasionally)

THE CHALLENGES WE OFFER

The operator position is an integral role within the CRF AgriTech team. Reporting to the plant manager, the operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring the production process. The operator role is also responsible for unloading raw materials as required, general housekeeping, and maintenance. Success in this position is providing oversight and monitoring of the Plant production, with a sense of pride and ownership towards the CRF Plant. CRF AgriTech provides a welcoming inclusive environment with a strong team focus on delivering the highest quality product to North American growers.

• Operate computer equipment that controls the process equipment
• Diagnose and apply corrective action when errors in the process are identified;
• Operate heavy equipment- forklift, loader with top tip bucket;
• Be able to handle, unload truck and rail car raw materials required at the plant;
• Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and machinery as required to operate the CRF AgriTech plant;
• Follow safe operating procedures and participate in the Environmental Health and Safety Programs;
• Must be physically able to climb multiple levels of the production structure, lift at least 50lbs and be able to work flexible hours during weekdays and weekends, including overtime;
• Perform light repairs, maintenance, and general housekeeping on various pieces of equipment;
• Work with customers, truckers, and employees in a courteous and professional manner;
• Assist with general help around the facility and complete other duties as required;
• Training will be provided;
• Competitive hourly wage provided.

YOU FIT THE FOLLOWING PROFILE:

• Valid G license and a car;
• Good communication skills;
• Good computer skills to operate production system;
• Works well within a small team as well as work independently;
• Ability to assess situations and provide solutions on a real time basis;
• Pride in your work environment.
