EYE & CO. Optometry is located in the southwest area of Edmonton in the neighbourhood of Chappelle Gardens, with surrounding areas Jagare Ridge, Paisley and Creekwood Chappelle. We are an optometry clinic, that uses a team-based approach striving to provide the best patient experience from start to finish. Our growing community ranges from young families, professionals and seniors. We have several amenities near by including: a grocery store, restaurants, ice cream shop, coffeehouses and synergistic healthcare teams. We are looking for a goal-oriented Optician or Optometric Assistant that understands how to deliver great customer experiences and is a self-starter with a strong work ethic that is able to maintain a high level of attention to detail. Optician/Optometric Assistant Responsibilities:

• Providing friendly and professional eye care services to patients
• Merchandising frames, lenses, and eyewear accessories
• Manage eyewear orders and patient pickup
• Work with patients in proper fitting
• Eyewear adjustment and minor repair

Optician Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven customer service skills
• Prior experience in the optometry field
• Strong sales ability and an eye for fashion
• High level of initiative and works well in a team environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Computer literate
• Knowledge of calculating and billing vision plans

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $16.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
