Hofland Gardens is a perennial flower grower serving independant garden centres throughout Southern Ontario.

We are looking for an Order Picker/ General Greenhouse labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for picking orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all orders are picked correctly. This position also involves general labour in a greenhouse enviroment involving the growing of perennials. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
• Accurately pick orders according to customer specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Ensure accuracy of order picking and packing.
• Keep accurate records of orders picked and packed.
• Communicate with supervisors and other staff members as needed.
• Maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Lifting up to 50lbs and standing for prolonged periods.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

Salary: From $15.50 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Brighton, ON K0K 1H0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• warehouse (preferred)
