Our favourite local client is making big waves across Canada and has opened a new location in Ayr, Ontario. They are now seeking an Outside Sales/Business Development Representative to join their team and help capitalize on their rapid growth and new presence. As a single-source provider of specialized truck and heavy equipment solutions including sales, rentals, and financing, this rapidly growing group is seeking a talented sales professional to join their versatile team.

The perfect candidate will have 5+ years of experience in the equipment industry as well as an established sales career.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The key job functions are:

• Building, developing, and maintaining working relationships with clients and prospects
• Prospecting and cold calling to gain new sales leads
• Researching and upkeeping company’s product and product knowledge
• Closing deals for new clients
• Communicating with other departments as needed

Education:

• High school diploma
• Post secondary education is an asset

Requirements:

• Valid drivers license
• Valid passport
• Clean background check

Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience is required
• Previous business development experience is a strong asset
• Previous experience in a similar industry is a strong asset

Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong eagerness and willingness to learn
• Goal oriented and driven
• Impeccable sales/business acumen
• Ability to work well in a team-based setting
• Positive, determined personality

Base Salary: $60,000 – $90,000 base per year

• Commission & bonus
• Company vehicle
• Travel allowance

Work Hours:

• 40 hours per week
• Some travel required*

Remote Work:

• This position is not remote. You are required to be on site.

• This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
