In this full-time permanent role, you will be a champion of diversity & inclusion.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare mechanical engineering deliverables datasheets, specifications, material requisitions.
  • Lead design development with other engineering disciplines
  • Lead design reviews with Suppliers and Clients
  • Familiar with all engineering department procedures and their application to projects.
  • Knowledge of design standards and guides applicable to the discipline for the respective clients; and
  • Participate in and fosters a work environment that is based upon openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • A recognized mechanical or materials engineering degree from an accredited university and registration as a Professional Engineer in Alberta
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant EPC Mechanical Engineering experience in the Energy sector, 5 years in a leadership role – Lead Engineer or Project Engineer
  • Experience as a Project Engineer considered an asset
  • Experience with Package Equipment and defining scope limits for efficient execution
  • Knowledge of industry/regulatory codes and standards such as ASME, TEMA, ASTM, API, etc.;
  • Willing and able to occasionally travel to operating plants or manufacturer’s shops for field reviews, acceptance testing, etc.; and
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
