Job Summary

Sarah is a very busy person and needs help staying on top of her personal home by ensuring that it stays tidy, organized, inventoried and well stocked. As Personal Assistant you are responsible for care of her personal home and family by running errands, family calendar management, child drop off/pick up (to/from kindergarten and daycare), home organization and any other tasks. The ideal candidate will take initiative and be able to prioritize tasks independently while communicating clearly. We are looking for someone who is proactive, can anticipate the needs of our busy business owner and adapt to changes on the go!

With multiple other properties you will also be responsible for the day to day management of short term and long term rentals. Our Airbnb properties require client communications/bookings through the app, turnovers, inventory, supply restock, and subcontractor management while the long term rentals require lease signings and property walkthroughs. Jump in anywhere possible and take on tasks (especially the ones going unnoticed or that get neglected). Sarah cannot be in two places at once, so she will rely on you to be an extension of her!

Reporting Relationship

  • As Home and Property Manager you will be reporting directly to the owner, Chief Operations Officer and communicating on a daily basis.

Qualifications

  • Class 5 drivers licence
  • Vehicle (registered and insured)
  • Criminal record check
  • Basic computer skills (spreadsheets, e-mail, etc.)
  • Cell Phone
  • Valid first aid (preferred but not required)
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs

Hours of Work & Wage

  • Wage will start at $18 with room for growth
  • Job Types: Full-time
  • Part-time hours: 40 per week

Monday to Friday (flexible 5 day work week, may include some weekends)
Regular breaks with 30 minute lunch
