Applications are invited for the position of Placement Officer in the School of Business and Management, located at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus. The starting hourly rate is $33.38/hr (Pay Band H - $33.38/hr to $38.75/hr) for a 35 hour work week. Additional hours may be required as necessary. This is an Appendix D, temporary position as per Article 17.3.1 of the Support Staff Collective Agreement and is set to commence in June 2023 and will conclude in December, 2024. It may be subject to an extension by mutual agreement of the parties.
Reporting to the Associate Deans, School of Business & Management, the successful candidate will represent the College externally for student-related field placement outreach and support Office Administration-Health Services, Sales and Marketing, and Human Resource Management students in meeting program outcomes as it relates to their field placements.
We also provide a balance of on-campus and remote work through our recently introduced Remote Work Policy. As a place-based organization all positions will involve some degree of on campus work.
