Car Porter

Universal Ford is looking for someone who wants to be part of a growing team, wants to stay busy while learning new skills, and have the possibility to advance. At Universal Ford, we are always looking to provide above excellent customer service and that all starts with our team of porters who look after one of the customers top possessions, their vehicle. We are currently looking to add a qualified CAR PORTER to our team at Universal Ford Lincoln (Service Department)

Job Description:

The Car Porter is responsible for ensuring vehicles are well cleaned, inspected for damage, moved to where they need to be (including delivering to customers) and ensuring the lot is functional and clean. The role requires having strong time management, a keen eye for detail and being able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Car porters must be able to provide excellent customer service when required, work with others as well as individually, and must have a clean driving record.

General Responsibilities:

  • Detailing of vehicles while on the lot and before customer delivery
  • Maintain basic car checks for fluid levels (washer fluid, fuel, oil, etc.)
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of vehicle lot.
  • Other duties and required.

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid class 5 driver’s license.
  • Must be able to drive a manual and automatic transmission.
  • Must be physically fit due to constant running for vehicles on the lot
  • Must have a clean driver abstract
