PRICING ANALYST


Cavendish Agri Services supports farmers in growing healthy and productive crops. We have 8 manufacturing/retail locations serving Atlantic Canada. Our primary products include fertilizers, crop protectants and technical expertise.

Reporting to the Manager, Pricing Analytics, the successful candidate must thrive in a fast paced, ever changing environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism, accuracy and detail.


The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for evaluating sales opportunities through the completion of a P&L. In addition will support the Pricing department in determining new pricing solutions, providing analysis on existing business to optimize profitability, and oversee the on-going maintenance and improvement of existing pricing tools.

Successful Candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in business or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in business administration and analytics
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
  • Proven analytical skills with ability to use Microsoft Excel to extract, manipulate and present data
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High attention to detail;


Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain regular sales reports as well as providing sales analysis and data on an ad hoc basis.
  • Work with Sales team to identify, create, and implement pricing strategies in order to improve and maximize profitability.
  • Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and improvement of pricing processes; identifying new pricing initiatives or areas for improved efficiencies.
  • Research data to provide recomendations to management team on market trends
