Scrum Master - Telecom and Network Management Systems (NMS) - Perm/FTE

Location: Remote (Ontario/Quebec Preferred)

JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly experienced Scrum Master with Telecom and Network Management Systems (NMS) experience to join our team. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting the Agile development team in delivering high-quality products that meet customer requirements.

In this role, you will work closely with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure that all Scrum processes and ceremonies are followed. You will help identify and remove impediments that could hinder team progress, and ensure that the team is constantly improving their processes and practices.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in the Telecom industry and with Network Management Systems (NMS). This includes a strong understanding of Telecom technologies and protocols, such as LTE, 5G, and IP networks. Additionally, the candidate should have a good understanding of NMS architecture and functionality, as well as experience in developing and deploying NMS solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as a Scrum Master for one or more Agile development teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies and processes.
• Coach and guide team members on Agile principles and best practices, and ensure that the team is constantly improving their processes.
• Identify and remove impediments that could hinder team progress, and escalate issues as needed to management.
• Work closely with product owners to ensure that the team is delivering products that meet customer requirements.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, and report progress to management on a regular basis.
• Ensure that all stakeholders are kept informed of project progress, and that expectations are managed effectively.
• Work with other Scrum Masters and Agile coaches to develop and promote best practices across the organization.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Scrum Master in an Agile software development environment.
• Strong knowledge of Agile principles and best practices, and experience in implementing them in an organization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Telecom technologies and protocols, such as LTE, 5G, and IP networks.
• Experience with Network Management Systems (NMS) architecture and functionality, and developing and deploying NMS solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is a plus.
