Job Description

Our specialty products are used in healthcare, industrial and commercial applications. Our unique three-step manufacturing process starts with a base fabric created on knitting machines, a polymer coating applied by extrusion machines and all products inspected for quality, then slit and packaged according to customer specifications.

We are currently seeking Production Workers to join our team in Textile Machine Operation, Plastics Extrusion and Inspection.

Textiles Machine Operators are responsible for operating various types of equipment, such as circular knitting machines, and weft insertion and quilting equipment to manufacture our in-house fabrics.

Plastics Team Members are responsible to operate extrusion, top coat, and other related compounding equipment to manufacture vinyl coated textiles according to customer specifications.

Inspectors are responsible for inspecting the product, removing product defects, and finalizing the preparation of orders as per the customer specifications, including slitting the product to the required widths and wrapping and building skids of product accordingly.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing experience an asset
• Must be able to wear a respirator periodically in some roles
• Computer literacy
• Desire to be part of a successful team
• Ability to perform moderate lifting
• Great work ethic, attitude, and attendance
• Ability to produce quality products
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work 10- or 12-hour rotating shifts
• Proven reading and mathematics comprehension
• Ability to drive a forklift (we will train)
• Good organizational and time management skills
