ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a great opportunity for a driven Project Coordinator to join a highly successful team. You will work alongside some of the best respected construction seniors that have been involved in commercial projects for decades. You will work on projects for high-end clients and be given every opportunity to grow, develop and progress through the company.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Project Co-ordinator you will be expected to:

• Assist the Project Manager and site staff with the overall performance of the project including cost, budget, schedule, safety and quality
• Involved in all meeting with external and internal stakeholder in the business
• Reviewing and monitoring schedule to ensure the project is on time
• Effective use of the software and document management
• Pinpointing risk issues and finding work arounds with the team
• Building long lasting and trustful relationships with all members involved in the project
• Managing RFI’s, submittals and shop drawings
• Managing change orders
• Managing the close out portion of the project to help reach occupancy
• Any other tasks that are going to assist the team

THE REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of 2 years experience working for a GC or developer-builder
• Need experince with the basics of construction coordination, i.e – change order’s, RFI’s Document control
• Commercial/industrial experience an asset
• Must be a confident communicator and be confident in speaking with clients and building relationship

COMPENSATION

• Salary range of $70,000 to $90,000
• Annual bonus
• Great benefit package, including health, dental, life insurance and gym subsidie
