Job Description

As Cabco is seeking a Project Management Co-op student to work out of our Dartmouth office full-time this summer, on a co-op basis (14 to 16 weeks flexible).

What you will be doing:

  • Working alongside our Project Managers to help plan and coordinate current and upcoming project plans, which will help you gain an understanding of the PM process
  • Participating in update calls and face to face meetings with management and customers, where we establish dates for field scheduling and update current status of projects (reviewing timelines and budget)
  • Helping prepare job packages for the lead technician
  • Traveling with the Project Manager to a job site
  • Following all safety procedures
  • Assisting operations staff with safety and quality control
  • Helping prepare job packages for the lead technician
  • Assisting with developing and implementing best practices for project management
  • Evaluating PM software options and make recommendation to the team

Qualifications:

Your qualifications:

  • Enrollment in the Construction Management program or related field of study
  • Customer service experience would be an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 would be an asset
