Job Description


Canadian Helicopters is looking for an Administrator for the Safety & Quality Assurance Departement. The selected candidate will be working with the Quality Assurance department located in les Cèdres.

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Department Manager; the Safety & Quality Administrator will be required to:

  • Provide administrative support to the Safety & Quality team.
  • Ensure employee safety training files are updated on the company internal website.
  • Perform and coordinate all tasks related to CNESST and workplace incidents.
  • Perform the functions of the Base Safety Representative in accordance with the responsibilities detailed in the company SMS Manual.
  • Participate as a member of the Workplace Health and Safety Committee and perform the duties as detailed in the Canada labour Code.
  • Maintain Safety Data Sheet database and CCOHS profile.
  • Assist in the completion of client questionnaires and ensure that all client compliance websites are updated (Avetta, ISNetworld, ComplyWorks, Cognibox).
  • Coordinate employee protective footwear and eyewear program.
  • Perform other Safety and Quality tasks as assigned.
  • Perform the translation of documents.

Qualifications
  • Experience in coordination and administrative support roles.
  • Exhibits problem solving skills and the ability to work independently and innovate.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, in both English and French.
  • Standard computer skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet.
  • Possesses the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
