Job Description

The Physio Care, a Multidisciplinary pain management clinic in Okotoks is looking for an experienced Receptionist. As the first point of contact, the candidate will provide exceptional customer service, quality care and will possess multi-tasking and organizational skills to work in a busy clinic environment. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the office manager and will support the office and administrative duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answers phone calls, schedule appointments, and greet patients.
  • Verify and update patients’ records, invoicing, and daily reports.
  • Assist patients in forms submission and insurance claims.
  • Provides administrative support to medical professionals in file reporting.
  • Manage and count medical stock inventory.
  • Other related administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Effective communication skills- verbal and written, knowledge of physiotherapy terminology will be an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team – quick to learn and adapt to daily demands in the clinic
  • Ability to prioritize daily tasks, multitask and complete them in a timely manner.
  • Language: English a must, other language skills an asset.
  • Excellent computer skills – typing skills, data entry, MS Office, experience on Jane scheduling software will be considered an asset.
  • Medical office-related experience a plus.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Medical Secretaries & Patient Registrars: 1 year (preferred)
