Regional Student Recruitment Marketer-Europe

VanWest College is looking for a Full-time Regional Student Recruitment Marketer for European Students.

Duties:
  • Communicate regularly with Directors to receive assignments and updates on priorities and to report on/review current projects/issues;
  • Prepare annual marketing budget and marketing strategy in consultation with Marketing Director;
  • Organizing and attending International education fairs or agent fairs in order to recruit new students and new agents according to assigned markets;
  • Liaise with both local and international student recruitment agencies and associations;
  • Plan/attend/follow up on agent visits according to assigned markets;
  • Provide an outstanding customer service to potential and current customers with on time (within 24 hours) responses on e-mails, phone calls, Google Meet calls and other messages through all types of social media;
  • Responding to inquiries from European applicants and provides information on programs and services at the College such as application procedures and admission requirements;
  • Handle a full cycle of student enrollments and follow-ups;
  • Review program price and gross margin goals for existing programs annually and establish new program pricing;
  • Responsible for developing promotional materials like contents of brochures and website, newsletters, and agent manual for college programs and services special promotional offerings and gifts according to assigned markets;
  • Develop/organize/support summer and winter programs as well as customized programs requested by agents, in consultation with the Marketing Director;
  • Research (or delegate research) and analyze current information on the industry and competitors;
  • Keep up to date in the industry through educational fairs, newsletters, trade journals, surveys, networking, language association meetings and the news. Apply this knowledge to the development of marketing strategies;
  • Maintain and update marketing database, agent contracts and agent information, ensure that agents have all relevant updated promotional material;
  • Provide assistance to other departments as needed. Communicate to relevant staff regarding issues;
  • Ensure that VanWest College pursues a policy of high student and agent satisfaction;
  • Provide information and orientation when needed to students, “walk-ins”, agents and visitors;
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with agents, students, partners and co-workers on a regular basis;
  • Provide English translation for student survey and any student and agent inquiries if needed;
  • Acts as a liaison regarding admissions with the Admission's Office, the Administrative staff, and teachers with respect to mutual interests pertaining to admission to the College;
  • Work with Marketing Directors to meet annual recruitment targets for VanWest College, delivered through multiple channels;
  • Schedule and follow up on trial lessons by meeting with prospective students and providing feedback to agents who refer these students to VanWest College;
  • Handle student concerns in consultation with Marketing, Academic and Operations Directors.
  • Keep a confidential record of meetings;
  • Attend staff meetings and provide updates on marketing activities;
  • Maintain company confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualification:
  • Minimum 2 years of Sales or Marketing Experience
  • Experience in working at language schools preferred.
  • Experience in working at student recruitment agencies preferred.
  • Degree or Diploma in Business Marketing or a related field preferred.
  • Proficient in spoken and written in English.
  • Proficient to communicate in a language other than English is a must.
  • Prepare, organize and deliver presentations effectively.
  • Knowledge of other cultures and languages.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
