Job Description

What is the opportunity?

The Administrator plays a significant role in the production and verification of financial data to produce custody statements within prescribed deadlines. The incumbent identifies and resolves reporting problems and works with the business units as a direct liaison with the Client facing teams to ensure corrective action (s) and proper procedures are in place to resolve operational issues. This position works closely with other internal client support teams and acts as a direct liaison with client facing teams to ensure the seamless integration of new business and client restructures. Accuracy and timeliness are critical to the success of this position

What will you do?

  • Prepare and distribute monthly custody statements to clients within established deadlines
  • Provide a high level of service by responding promptly and accurately to daily client requests and enquiries regarding the administration of client accounts.
  • Identify and resolve reporting problems. Work with internal units to ensure corrective actions and proper procedures are in place.
  • Ensure all transactions are in accordance with agreements and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and balance unitization spreadsheets for master trust arrangements
  • Ensure accounts and report requests are set up according to client's specification for add-on or new clients
  • Support the Client reporting team by providing training to back up and ensure proper documentation is in place for cross reference purposes

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Post-secondary education, preferably in Business or Finance
  • Securities industry experience and knowledge of international markets
  • Strong interpersonal skills and networking abilities with other departments
  • Knowledge of Pension plans & alternative investments
  • Solid understanding of financial accounting
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of PC applications such as excel

Nice to have

  • Trust processing and PCR system knowledge
  • Milvus and Gplus system knowledge
  • CSC designation
  • Investment industry knowledge
