Some of what you will do:
The Manager Retail Communications and Change Management plays a key role in driving the change experience to help retail associates transition, adopt and achieve business results. They are responsible for representing the National Operations team and all Retail Associates on strategic initiatives/ new programs to facilitate the development and execution of change management strategies, including all retail communications deliverables.
Specifically, You Will:
Retail Communication
- Represent National Operations on cross-functional planning teams
- Develop consistent, actionable, shop-floor easy communications for stores and operations teams for new programs and on-going initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve or develop communications for the stores and operations
Retail Change Management
- Lead, develop and execute change management strategies and plans using a structured methodology for Staples Retail division.
- Collaborate and influence key partners, leaders and impacted stakeholders to solve business challenges using change management strategies and interventions.
- Assess the change impact for Staples Retail division and Associates on people, processes and technology to develop mitigation activities and change plans.
- Identify anticipated points of resistance and adoption/ transition risks and develop specific response strategies and plans.
- Actively build strong relationships with stakeholders and key partners, fostering an environment of trust and open conversations.
- Develop and execute communication plans and activities for Staples Retail division.
- Work closely with Learning & Development to develop high-level plans and ensure alignment of detailed training plans and execution.
