We are currently seeking an Analyst to join our Consulting team for a four (4) month Co-op term from May 2024 to August 2024. This diverse team of professionals are inspired through innovation and take pride in developing strategies that make a positive impact for both public and private clients. As a trusted advisor, you’ll provide comprehensive analysis, strategic guidance and action planning that empowers clients to achieve their vision while balancing current needs with future goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of consulting services such as strategic planning, business planning, feasibility studies, process improvement, financial modelling, organizational effectiveness and analytical studies, working at times independently and as part of a project team
  • Plan and support data collection through primary, secondary, comparative and best practice research, including interviews, focus groups, facilitated workshops, surveys, review of client data, direct observation, published reports, internet research and direct contacts
  • Coordinate project logistics with clients and other stakeholders consistent with project plans
  • Perform analysis and interpretation of qualitative and quantitative data, including financial data, and present information in a clear, concise manner
  • Support the design, development, formatting and proof reading of high-quality professional reports, proposals, and correspondence
  • Develop positive working relationships with clients at the peer and management level
  • Provide a consistent, high level of client service based on client needs, including response to requests in a timely, accurate and professional manner
  • Assist in and support ongoing improvements in project methods and development of technical knowledge
  • Assist in promotion of MNP Consulting through the support and development of presentations, articles, workshops or participating in community activities
  • Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary

Skills and Experience

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in a related field
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Strong writing and presentation development skills
  • Ability to quickly analyze a situation and see opportunities to improve it
  • Passionate about bringing out the full potential of individuals and organization
  • Interested in pursuing a potential career in Management Consulting
