The Field Safety Coordinator will help aid in the development and administration of workplace safety practices, policies, and training. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for conducting site visits to ensure all Health and Safety protocols are being met within the RMC Group of Companies.

Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of OHS policies and programs at the RMC Group
- Advising and instructing on various safety and related topics
- Conduct risk assessments and advise on preventative measures.
- Review existing policies to ensure proper implementation within field work.
- Initiate and advise on training improvements.
- Inspect worksites and provide mentorship and coaching to staff.
- Record and investigate incidents to determine root causes and corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of OHS legislation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics.
- OHS Diploma or NCSO (preferred.)
- Strong organizational skills.
- Familiar with conducting OHS related investigations and inspections.
- Proficient understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
Hours of Work:
8:00am – 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Some weekend work might be required as needed.
