CANADA SUMMER JOBS TEMPORARY POSITION (Approx. 12 weeks)

ONE (1) PART-TIME SEASONAL DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL
(30 Hours/Week)
CENTRAL DISTRICT, STOUFFVILLE

(Position dependent on the approval of funding)

The Seasonal Direct Support Professional assists with activities of daily living and promotes the implementation of person-centered plans. They work in cooperation with their work team and completes administrative duties as assigned. They seek to promote Christian Horizons’ Service Principles by enhancing relationships, promoting citizenship, valuing people’s gifts, recognizing self-determination, encouraging growth and development, and recognizing the need for holistic supports in a manner that considers each person’s intrinsic value.

The Seasonal Community Direct Support Professional will respect and uphold the Values, Vision and Mission of Christian Horizons, demonstrating the highest standards of courtesy and respect in their dealings with other employees, persons supported and both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

- Funded through Service Canada, the candidate will work 30 hours a week for approximately 12 weeks;

- Documentation of COVID-19 vaccination
