What does a Security Guard in Calgary and Surrounding areas do?

Enforce safety procedures and standards
Helping visitors find their way around the hospital
Completing daily reports
Monitoring CCTV systems
Responding as necessary to assist and support Community Peace officers
Preventative patrols, including foot and/or mobile patrol of exterior and interior perimeters
Assisting clinical staff and Peace Officers physical restraining patients and respond to duress alarms

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Calgary and Surrounding Area:

Valid Alberta Security License
Must be able to work 12 hr rotational shifts days and nights
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Some Health Care sites require a N95 mask to be fit tested, which will require no facial hair for those working on site.
Strong de-escalation abilities and problem-solving mindset
