What you will do:

Identify, develop, coordinate and implement practices, procedures and programs to support Company compliance with Provincial and Federal Regulatory requirements for pipelines, to reduce and limit Company regulatory risk and liability, and to minimize negative impact from Company operations to the public, property, or the environment.

Consult, advise, direct, and/or support activities on a broad range of pipeline compliance related issues for routine operations as well as for projects, corporate or Business Development initiatives, new acquisitions, or special projects for the Company.

Establish and build effective relationships with field personnel through pro-active involvement in field activities and a regular presence in the field.

Provide advice, support and regional training, to ensure proper internal and external reporting of pipeline incidents in accordance with company processes.

Provide regulatory compliance support through an on-call rotation to all of our Canadian assets.

Support the Incident Command System (Liaison Officer Role) during emergencies and emergency response exercises.

Act as a liaison for communications between the Operating Region and Internal Stakeholders including the Regulatory Affairs/Law Department on compliance related matters.

Participate and/or support the coordination and completion of internal inspections/assessment to ensure regulatory compliance.
Who you are:

Successful completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program.

7+ years of directly related compliance experience.

Working knowledge of Federal and Provincial Regulations as well as applicable industry standards for pipeline systems.

Equivalent combinations of education and experience in related field may be considered.
