On behalf of our client here in Vancouver,
Ignite Technical Resources is looking for a
Senior BA for a
Contract opportunity.
Role: The successful candidate is required to have experience with Agile solution delivery methodology and an awareness of Cloud and MS Azure Dev/Ops technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Build strong business relationships working closely with business unit leaders and representatives,
- See opportunities for the adoption of technology to facilitate desired business outcomes.
- Ongoing support of a portfolio of applications.
- Facilitate the adoption of SaaS type solutions.
- Standard business analysis responsibilities as they relate to any solution and mote specifically SharePoint including but not limited to: Requirements definition, Workshop Facilitation / JAD Sessions, Using Agile, the definition of Epics, Features and User Stories, Agile Value Increment Planning Retrospectives, Kanban or Scrum and Sprints, and Backlog grooming, and Business process mapping and improvement
- Delivery and facilitate Quality Assurance and Quality Control
- Development of test plans, test cases and the execution of test plans
- Facilitate overall solution implementation including environment management (co-ordination), technology change management, change orders, CAB etc
- Organizational readiness and ongoing user training
- Act as Scrum Master for business solution initiatives when necessary.
- Participate in the building of the business engagement framework, adoption of business analysis standard processes, and development of metrics and measures to improve application management and solution delivery.
- Achieve key breakthroughs, on time, on quality, and within scope.
- Engage collaborators by raising impediments, validating risk, and communicating status and performance metrics.
Skills Required:
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, PowerApp, PowerBI, PowerAutomate, D365 CRM and/or D365 Finance
- Innovation oriented and technology savvy with solution delivery or software deployment / implementation experience.
- An ideal candidate will also have experience working with various technologies and application types.
- Ability to effectively communicate with technology teams demonstrating a basic understanding of most information management technologies.
- Assertive, with the confidence to be heard – not afraid to do what is best for the team.
