Position Description:

The Role
The senior business systems analyst is responsible for working closely with a product owner and tech lead to assist in a variety of tasks. Candidate must be able to work with a growing team of technologists in a fast paced and highly ambiguous environment bursting with new technologies.
As a senior business systems analyst, your role is to identify and investigate business and system requirements in support of complex payment systems for FCAT. This candidate will be working closely with both business and technology key stakeholders.

Candidate must be able to communicate effectively to multiple audiences from both technical and business perspectives. Possessing the ability to work collaboratively across organizational boundaries, within FCAT and across companies, by building and maintaining strong partnerships is extremely important.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
  • College graduate in a technical degree that is driven to meet, or exceed, expectations.
  • Experience working in a financial services environment, with experience in the payments processing domain is desired.
  • Experience working with one or more US payment rails such as ACH, Wires and RTP is desired
  • 6+ years relevant experience in various business & systems analysis methodologies, including data analysis, data mapping, flowcharts, uses case development, story writing, set-up / configuration of systems, user acceptance testing and product documentation
  • Highly proficient in writing user and system stories and supporting documentation - business process and system workflows
  • Proven capacity to lead clarification and ‘translation’ of less-technical documentation and/or requirements into highly technical subject-matter
  • Proficient in successfully executing on define-build-test cycles.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills are important for this role. Candidate must be able to communicate effectively to multiple audiences from both technical and business perspectives. Possessing the ability to work collaboratively across organizational boundaries, within FCAT and across companies, by building and maintaining positive relationships is extremely important.
  • Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Java, REST, SOAP, JSON and APIs is desirable
  • Familiarity with Cloud Platforms (AWS) and SaaS platforms a plus
  • Deep understanding of Agile development methodologies
  • Ability to research and learn new technologies.
  • Proficient using Confluence & JIRA
