Job Summary

What will be your role?


We are presently seeking a talented and enthusiastic Senior Developer Analyst - Information Systems – Operations who will work on the development and implementation of business systems projects within our corporate systems architecture. The Senior Developer Analyst will work closely both within systems projects and with currently installed systems related to our Operations and Manufacturing processes to assess business needs, identify areas in need of improvement and propose solutions that support the organization’s business goals and meet current industry best-practices.
To be successful as a Senior Developer Analyst, you should be able to work within a variety of business systems in use within the Operations and Manufacturing teams while continuously assessing the overall systems architecture to recommend solutions to optimize performance and for any new system additions. Current business systems include: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Manufacturing Systems (MES), shipping systems, reports and dashboards (BI), internal tools (Sharepoint/Teams), Microsoft Office 365 and more.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

What will you do?

  • Contribution to the successful deployment of systems information infrastructure projects.
  • Design, structure and integration of information systems to meet the Operations team’s needs.
  • Engagement with internal customers to capture their requirements, evaluate and develop new applications, solutions and/or enhancements to existing systems functionality.
  • Technical lead on implementation of systems integration projects, including defining requirements, development work and functional testing.
  • Current systems architecture assessment for continuous improvement recommendations.
  • Data analysis and development of various reports and performance indicators.
  • Technical support on systems issues as they arise.
  • On-going research of current and emerging technologies to propose value-added changes where needed.
  • Promotion of industry best practices and innovative ideas that leverage the Information Systems in-place.
  • Assessment and implementation of continuous improvement projects on enterprise Data Quality.

Experience (minimum experience required)


Which candidate profile are we looking for?

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Technology, Software Engineering or Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of related experience, including:


  • Min of 8 years of cross-functional information systems experience supporting Operations and Manufacturing business units.
  • Min. of 5 years of proven experience in business systems integration and architecture design.
  • Proven experience in the delivery of technology projects involving multiple stakeholders.


  • Advanced knowledge on SQL databases, queries, stored procedures.
  • In-depth understanding of coding languages | Programming skills: C / C++, VBA, .NET, HTML, Java
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, various operating systems and databases.
  • Strong initiative to research new technologies and best practices to improve solutions, systems and processes.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and under tight deadlines, independently or within a team.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
  • Fluent in French and English – written and spoken.

Preferred Experience (i.e. industry experience)

Asset:
Knowledge or certification in one or more of the following specific systems:

  • Infor CloudSuite Industrial (Syteline) (ERP)
  • Aegis FactoryLogix (MES)
  • Infor OS, ION, Ming.le, IDM and OCR technologies
  • Domo (BI)
  • Microsoft Sharepoint, Reporting Services, Azure AD
