What is a typical work day?

• 
  Communication: Have the ability to articulate workload in the station amongst the team, have difficult conversations, Coordinating and managing business partners, allocating routes already optimized/distributed to drivers.
• Organization: Task orientated and ensuring daily operations of the station.
• Managing: undelivered packages and warehouse returns and completing a daily report at the end of the shift. Participating in the development of procedures and working methods in collaboration with the Regional Operations Manager and monitoring KPIs (Key performance indicator).
• Being resourceful and autonomous: Solution focused and goal orientated in making decisions and being able to execute tasks at hand. Would be the first point of contact for daily/emergency situations.
• High paced and stress environments: The environment works under very limited and tight deadlines. Adaptability to the business needs of quick decisions, problem solving, escalations and people leadership, to run a smooth operation.
• Safety and Health: Ensure safe work methods and behaviors for all who interact in the station.

What do you need to be successful ?

• 
  At least 3-4 years in an operations supervisory role, preferably in the transport industry.
• Know the current occupational health and safety regulations in force.
• Have general computer knowledge (Office365).
• Have knowledge of current transport laws and regulations.
