As a member of the Systems and Integrations team, the Software Engineer II idesigns, develops, supports, and maintains EMCO's infrastructure, including the implementation and design of software and participating in the design of hardware.
Job Scope could include:

• Develop and maintain various tools, and reports that assist in the day-to-day operation of the company.
• Liaise with outside entities regarding EDI and the technical requirements for technical solutions between them and EMCO Corporation.
• Code, debug, test, and troubleshoot throughout the development process.
• Assist in the design and support of EMCO systems hardware.
• Document the solution including recovery process, data flows, critical pieces of information required to maintain business continuity of the application.
• Manage, maintain, update, create and monitor CSDE Integrations.
• Collaborate with the Systems Business Analyst, and User Subject Matter Experts when designing solutions for challenges across a spectrum of complexity, from easy to very complex, with a goal of using technology to solve those challenges.
• Co-ordinate and assist with solving business need through technology.
• Provide Tier 2 support, upon request, for complex cases.
• Assist in testing upgrades and/or new systems.
• Assist in business process reviews, data analysis, preparation of data for cutover transformation and load to CSDE.
• Liaise between Business Analyst(s) and the user(s) using your technical knowledge to bridge the gap.
• Areas of work include but are not limited to Infor CSDE, Birst, IDM, Factory Track, AR in Mongoose, Infor OS, and Data Lake as well as some custom applications.

Candidates working from remote locations would be expected to be available for collaboration, planning and delivery of solutions during core hours based on the Eastern time zone.

The successful candidate will possess:

• College or University Education in Computer Science, Business Applications Development or equivalent work experience

• Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written to a wide range of end-users
• Detail oriented
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be self-motivated and able to work effectively both alone and as part of a team
• Have a strong sense of ownership, and a need to be challenged
• Experience working with APIs (SOAP/REST)
• Familiarity with Javascript, XML, C# and SQL
• Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, Excel

Additional experience that would be beneficial but is not required:

• MEC or StreamServe, Infor M3 (aka CSDE), Infor toolkit: ION, EDI, XML, IDM, Data Lake
• Experience with a large ERP, especially in Cloud
• Familiarity with C#, Java, Git (Bitbucket)
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools, such as Infor Birst or Microsoft Power BI
