Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Restaurant Management Team, our Servers help to create a positive guest experience through engaging interaction and quality service in our upscale dining outlets and banquet spaces.

What will you be doing?

• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the sequence of service
• Have full and complete knowledge of all menus
• Be aware of all cashiering procedures and the handling of all payment methods
• Understand and follow all POS procedures and policies.
• Communicate all service requirements to the respective crew members in an efficient and effective way.
• Perform all opening, side and closing duties as well as all daily and weekly duties to the set standards.
• Other duties as assigned or required

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 1 year of experience serving or bartending in an upscale high-volume establishment
• Previous experience in customer service, retail, food service, winery, brewery, restaurant, fine dining, waiter,/waitress, serving, etc. are all considered assets.
• Valid Serving It Right certificate
• Positive attitude and a willingness to think outside the box
• A passion for the industry and meeting new people
• Organizational skills, ability to multi-task and anticipate guest needs
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum
• Must be available to work varying shifts including evenings and weekends
• Be legally entitled to work in Canada

When you arrive at the Manteo Resort (3762 Lakeshore Road), feel free to park in any space available to our guests! Once enterting the Manteo Resort lobby, the job fair will be located in the first meeting room to the left of the lobby (Waterfront Room 1). No need to book an interview timeslot, show up any time between 11am-2pm and we will be there!
