The Builder

Westcreek Homes was established in 2013 and builds a broad array of home styles in the City of Calgary. The management of Westcreek Homes has over 50 years of combined experience in the Calgary new home and development industry. We are currently growing our operations and looking for a successful candidate to join our team.

About the Position

We are growing and need help with our field operations! The role of the site supervisor is to moderate the day-to-day operations of multiple construction sites from commencement to post-possession. All while maintaining site safety, quality control and tracking schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule job files from construction start to occupancy
  • Conduct periodic walk-through meetings with customers
  • Work with trades and peers to complete tasks and timelines
  • Supervise and moderate safety policies and procedures
  • Track job budgets and efficiencies
  • Attend weekly meetings with management to review construction activity
  • Maintain a safe and clean job site
  • Work with minor construction tools to complete tasks as required

Qualifications

  • 5 years or more experience in site supervision with new home construction
  • Experience and knowledge of municipal building codes and regulations
  • Knowledge using basic office software (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • BuildPro knowledge is a significant benefit
  • Have your own pick up truck for transportation and job use
  • Ability to read blueprints and engineering documentation
  • Organized and efficient
