Samterra Concrete is Durham Regions leading concrete contractor. Due to our expanding business we are in need of an supervisor who will manage sites. We are looking for a candidate with at least 10 years onsite experience finishing concrete, from excavation to job completion.

Candidate must be able to monitor progress, identify issues and resolve problems effectively. We are looking for a supervisor who has excellent time management, organization and communication skills, who can make decisions quickly and with confidence and can plan job take off materials required.

Must be able to manage and work on a job site from excavation to job completion. Typically our projects are driveways, walkways, stairs, porches in the residential sector and large slab on grade in the commercial sector. We offer broom and stamped finishing.

Must have valid drivers license. Company vehicle provided.

Responsibilities:

• Manage residential and small commercial construction projects from start to finish.
• Direct, supervise, and when need be work on site with respect to daily tasks.
• Be able to make financial decisions on behalf of company.
• Make site decisions regarding materials and time schedules.
• Knowledge of construction workers' skills and abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
