ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Position Summary
Designs product packaging to ensure product integrity and appeal under varying shipping and display conditions. Tests, analyzes, and selects materials for packaging based on durability and cost effectiveness.

Essential to this Position

(must have corrugate box, display or print experience to be considered)

Develop creative concept renderings of both permanent and temporary displays
Provide guidance for graphic designers
Work directly with vendors and customers as required for display projects
Design and build Structural Display concepts using Artios CAD / Solidworks
Modify display components and generate Specification Packages using Artios CAD / Solidworks
Create display assembly instructions and renderings using Solidworks
Display assembly and loading of client product into displays
Build and organize Product library of images to be used for rendering purposes
Operate Kongsberg Cutting Table for sample making of Corrugated Display Components
Supervise the execution of ship tests

Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired

Knowledge of the existing and planned approaches and methods for manufacturing products or product components
Knowledge of methodologies, tools and techniques for designing, building and managing the manufacture of new products
Knowledge of the methodology and associated phases, activities and deliverables for the design of new products and the enhancement of existing products; ability to apply the methodology in diverse scenarios
Knowledge of the methodology and associated phases, activities and deliverables for manufacturing new or enhancing existing products
Ability to design, plan and execute testing strategies and tactics to ensure product quality

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge of corrugated materials an asset
