Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. is seeking an Associate Supply Chain Specialist, working out of the CFB Petawawa, Ontario office, reporting to the Product Support Supply Chain Manager. The Associate Supply Chain Specialist will join the asset management team, supporting CH-47 Canadian program and maintaining stock levels for a group of parts assigned.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assists in analyzing post production supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities.

  • Enters, tracks, monitors and coordinates customer material and delivery requirements and customer orders.

  • Processes material returned from customers.

  • Assists in the analysis of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and performance.

  • Processes documentation associated with repair items and warranty claims.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain management or Logistics Support

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office tool suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Must be legally able to work in Canada

  • Must be willing and eligible to work on Canadian government and defense-related programs

  • Must consent to Canadian Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessment

  • Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods

  • Must be eligible for Secret Level II security clearance

  • Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

  • Active secret level II clearance

  • Experience with material management systems

  • Experience implementing process and/or strategy improvements and an applied understanding of Lean practices

  • Experience in aerospace or airline industry

  • Experience in working on defense related projects or contracts

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field

Typical Education and Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Additional Information:

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance Level II from the Canadian government. Requirements to obtain a secret security clearance can be found at:
