We are looking for a 3D Survey Technician to join our expanding survey operations team and become a long-term asset. We seek someone with plenty of energy and who is physically able to do survey work in the field.

  • Entry level position
  • Operation of industrial surveying equipment and accessories for surveying physical sites, facilities, infrastructure, and assets.
  • Conduct post-processing operations on collected data to produce client deliverables of relevant quality, detail, and completeness.
  • Successfully balance and execute planning, quality, communication, and safety in a fast-paced environment.
  • Responsible, and punctual.
  • Professionalism and ability to engage in health and safety responsibilities.
  • Fort Saskatchewan/Sherwood Park/Edmonton based.
  • Candidate must be open to out-of-province.

Ideal Education /Experience:

  • Industrial Facility with previous surveying experience.
  • Post-Secondary Education in a surveyor program from an accredited technical school would be an asset. Minimum High School Diploma is required.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
  • Safety tickets - Standard First Aid, H2S Alive, Ground Disturbance Level 2, CST/PST would be considered an asset.
  • Flexibility/ Adaptability - Proven ability to manage and thrive in an environment of constant change overcoming obstacles and seeing opportunities instead of roadblocks
  • Communication – Able to express oneself (verbally and in writing) in a clear, concise, and professional manner that encourages open expression of ideas and opinions.
  • Teamwork - Proven ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with internal and external clients that promote good morale, cooperation, and a sense of belonging within the team.
  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Benefits/Others:

  • Starting at $25/hr, approx 40+ hours per week contract based. OT where applicable.
  • Health Benefits are provided through an HSA account after the probationary period.
