We are looking for a high-performance computing (HPC) and application optimization technical advisor to be a member of our Research Platform Support team. The advisor would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Creativity.
This position will be a member of our Research Platform Support team responsible for supporting NRC’s users on local and cloud HPC systems. The candidate will be responsible in supporting users on HPC systems above the operating system layer (e.g.: applications, container images, job scheduler). The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining and completing technical documentation of the services.

A University degree or college diploma in a field related to the position, such as (but not limited to) Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

From $89,548 to $112,660 per annum.
An incumbent occupying a position within the CS Group is currently entitled to receive a terminable allowance of $212 per month.
