We are seeking a Technology Analyst Student for our North American Headquarters (NAHQ) district in Edmonton, AB, that is available for 8-12 months starting in September 2023. This is an in-person opportunity located in our Edmonton office.


As a Technology Analyst Student, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the implementation of project management software.
  • Assists in application configuration and development as per business requirements.
  • Assists in data migration and maintaining data integrity.
  • Assists in the development of software.
  • Documents business processes, application configuration and design, test cases and training material.
  • Assists in executing test cases for application releases.
  • Assists in supporting and maintaining business application.
  • Gathers feedback from key project stakeholders.
  • Works in collaboration with team members, as well as completing individual work.
  • Gains exposure to cutting edge technology, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Power Platform including Power BI and ServiceNow.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Management Information Systems (MIS) program, an Information Technology or Computer Engineering program, or an Operations Management program.
  • Always on top of the latest technology trends.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to share knowledge and work in a strong team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to details.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell and scripting best practices is an asset.
  • Ability & willingness to learn programming or scripting languages, such as PowerShell or .NET, to accomplish the completion of one or more automation tasks.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 is an asset.
