The Special Operations, Training & Logistics Branch of the Paramedic Service is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of paramedic specialty teams, including tactical, CBRNE, bike, marine and critical care; the Community Paramedicine Program; training and development of internal staff as well as external stakeholders; research proposals related to patient care or paramedic operations; and the provision of logistics, vehicle and equipment maintenance/stocking, cleaning and repair, facility management and general administrative/financial services to support a performance-based environment and the effective functioning of the Branch.
You are responsible for the delivery of the Ottawa Paramedic Service (OPS) accredited training programs (including Standard First Aid and/or Emergency First Aid and/or CPR and/or Oxygen Therapy and/or AED courses and/or Emergency First Responder courses).
Completion of Grade 12
Minimum of 18 months of experience in adult education or instruction or within a related field
