We are looking for a safety-oriented, motivated shunt truck driver to join our organization. In this role, you will ensure the safe operation of our equipment and handling of our products, which are essential to our infrastructure projects.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform prestart checks on truck & trailer
Moving oversized products on 50-foot flat decks
Navigate through tight areas
Follow instructions of supervisors, shipping & inventory
Education, Experience & Skills:
Transport truck, split shift transmission experience
Experience Backing up with a 50-foot trailer
Knowledge, willingness to learn proper securement of loads.
AZ/DZ license an asset
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and suggest corrective action
Ability to learn new techniques and adapt to change
