SUMMARY:

We are looking for creative and enthusiastic teachers who are interested in teaching a multi-grade one day/week class throughout the school year.

Virtual class instructors plan, teach, and assess learners through interactive, social learning activities hosted in Zoom, including supplemental activities that learners complete at home.

Virtual club instructors plan and lead learners in interactive, social learning activities hosted in Zoom.

EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:

Virtual class teachers must be certified by the B.C. Teacher Regulation Branch or the Office of the Inspector of Independent Schools and must agree with RCOA’s statement of faith.

EXPERIENCE:

Experience and education related to working with students in online learning and project-based learning is an asset but not required.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS:

Virtual Book and Writing Clubs Instructor

Facilitate online Book and Writing Club meetups on Zoom each week (approximately 45 minutes duration). The time commitment is approximately 2 hours/week per class, for 6 sessions a term x 3 terms (18 sessions total).

This is approximately a 0.1FTE position.
