Job Description


The Storage Team Leader is responsible for ensuring coordination and accuracy of orders with internal and external partners. He organizes the work and ensures the storage of the units at the respective locations. He supports the team in solving technical problems, with the help of computer tools, and thus maintains our strategic position in the field of tire distribution.

Responsibilities

Logistic assignments

  • Manage orders through Microsoft Dynamics AX and Excel
  • Coordinate the different delivery routes
  • Act as an expert to support the team with scanners, units delivered and ordered and the location of units in the warehouse using computer tools
  • Handle order discrepancies and perform internal investigations in partnership with internal teams
  • Raise awareness of health and safety standards and company operational policies within the team

Handling responsibilities

  • Receive and ship merchandise (tires)
  • Store merchandise in accessible and appropriate locations in the warehouse using a stand-up Raymond forklift
  • Prepare the shipment of merchandise to the various customers
  • Complete the various documents of reception of goods
  • Maintain inventory of merchandise (tires)
  • Adjust the location of the different products

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Team Leader in a large distribution environment
  • Must hold a valid Raymond standing truck driver's license (asset)
  • Ability to work physically and lift heavy loads
  • High school diploma
  • Knowledge of ERP management systems
  • Intermediate level with Excel
  • Analytical mindset
