Warehouse Rep

PURPOSE

Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping & receiving duties typically working out of a central Stockroom or Warehouse. Accurately Receives, Picks Orders, and prepare Work Orders to ensure the highest quality and accuracy in the handling of all products into and out of the Stockroom and/or Finished Goods Inventory areas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting.
• Follows best shipping practices and procedures, schedules, and requirements.
• Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment keeping accurate data records throughout all processes.
• Packs and unpacks or wraps and unwraps items such as products, supplies, equipment.
• Verifies quantities, documentation, and conformance of materials to stated identifications; logs receipt of items on system, processes all documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
• Accurately fills order or transfers, completing picking, shipping, and other documents; reports materials shipped and bills of lading; posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations.
• Ensures awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply and champion all quality and regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific.

Knowledge

Solid knowledge of the job. Applies broad knowledge of business concepts, procedures and practices and a general understanding of department fundamentals.

Cognitive Skills

Performs routine and some non-routine assignments using standard methods and sequences. Makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements to set processes as directed. Assignments require limited judgment in troubleshooting proven processes.

Supervision Received

Close to moderate supervision. Receives general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments.

Consequence of Errors

Errors may be detected and corrected but may cause moderate loss of time or customer/user dissatisfaction.
